As for PRP services to individuals with Developmental Disability and co-occurring Mental Illness, an individual’s programs provider- Residential, Day, SE, PSS-, the CCS and the individual himself/herself may suggest PRP services to be included in the individual’s PCP as one of the services at the PCP meeting. The team then makes a recommendation to the individuals’ mental health Professional-therapist, psychiatrist- for therapy or PRP or both. Therapist or Psychiatrist will assess the potential outcome of this service to the individual and submits a REFERRAL FORM_PG county to ACIDD’s PRP program.

Individuals with DD and co-occurring Mental Illness clearly benefit themselves of this service and costs zero dollars for provider that supports the individual. Individuals who are already in the Public Mental Health System also self-refer them to MHVP.
